Important message from our organization

For over a decade, we have been extremely honored to participate in a grassroots effort to pay tribute to our military families by providing dog tags for the children of those serving in harm’s way. A small but dedicated and determined staff of volunteers have enthusiastically worked to send almost 900,000 tags overseas to the troops so they could be mailed home for the kids. The only compensation being the satisfaction of serving a worthy cause and the joy of seeing the smiles on the faces of the children. Of course none of it would have been possible without the many supporters and donors of this project whom we greatly appreciate!

Sadly, due to circumstances beyond our control, we will be winding down our operation until it’s closing in a few months. We will continue to supply tags while they last, though we can’t guarantee a specific color. We appreciate everyone’s understanding during this final phase as we continue to ship out as many smiles as possible.

Our delight has been nothing short of phenomenal in being able to be a part of this wonderful journey and hope that we have helped in a small way to express our support for those who faithfully serve our nation. Again we want to acknowledge those of you who over the years have helped us “connect hearts one tag at a time”. You have earned our heartfelt gratitude. To you, we simply say thank you. And to our military members and families, many of whom we have had the pleasure of dealing with, our support, respect and thanks for your service will always endure.

100% of Your Donation Delivers Smiles

Ian with Dog Tag Help us send dog tags to our troops currently serving in harm's way so they can send them to their kids back home!

This is a grassroots effort to show our support for the troops and their families. We tried to think of something we could send Dad or Mom that they could easily send back to their kids. This is something easy to ship and something the kids can hang on to until Dad or Mom gets back home.

Your donation will help send a tag in the appropriate service color to an appreciative service member. There is NO charge to the service member or their family for these tags. As of August 2017, we have sent over 828,675 tags to the troops overseas to send home to their children. Please help us make a difference and thank our troops by putting a smile on their kid's faces!

The Story Behind The Effort

Bek PicsWe heard a story about a soldier who was in Iraq, and he wanted to send his kids a package. They were so excited to receive it because they got something from Dad who had been away for some time. He sent the only things he had access to: a couple of band aids and some sun screen. The kids didn't care, after all, it came from Dad!!

We tried to think of something we could send Mom or Dad that they could easily send back to their kids. What soldier's child doesn't want a dog tag of their own, especially one like Mom or Dad wears?

The older kids can put it on their key rings, the little ones can put it on their back pack or jacket zippers and the middle kids can actually wear it since we are sending them all with chains.
